Kristyn von Rotz currently serves as Executive Director of OC Walk to Remember, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families who have lost a baby in pregnancy or infancy. She co-founded the organization after her son Joseph died at birth on July 8, 2004. In addition to her work with OC Walk to Remember, Kristyn is actively involved in the pregnancy and infant loss community. She was a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, a non-profit that provides photography services to grieving parents after the loss of a baby. Since 2004 Kristyn has worked to educate the medical community through speaking engagements and seminars on how to better care for parents who have lost a baby.
Kristyn also works as a freelance writer and editor. She has worked as a copy editor for the Orange County Business Journal and Westways Magazine. Kristyn is a graduate of Chapman University with a Bachelor of Arts in English, emphasis in Journalism and a minor in Philosophy. She also attended Marymount College in Palos Verdes and studied at Regent’s College in London, England. She is the mother to three living children: Leah, Evan and Sara.
